I was initially skeptical of this restaurant given how it seemed like it was specifically catered towards vegetarians from the outside. However I realized that these misgivings were wrong. The server was amazing and guided me through the ordering process, and their salsa tastes AMAZING. Their rice, beans, sweet potatoes, corn, etc are incredibly fresh and taste very different than if I were to prepare those foods at home. While the chicken did cost an extra 3 dollars to add, the total price of my bowl was still not very expensive, and they gave me a sizable portion!
My 1st experience with Forage Kitchen was a delight ! I placed my order online and received a phone call a short time later, offering me other options on beverage, as they sold out of my choice . The employee was Helpful when I asked about the carbohydrate content on the other options . I really appreciate that. My food arrived quickly with a smile, ANNNND it was delicious! I look forward to trying it again when I am visiting Illinois!

I ordered the fiesta bowl and it was so tasty! Super fresh ingredients, great service, nice environment, cleanly, and good food.
Ordered a build my own salad (2 bases, 3 toppings, 1 sauce for only $7, I added 1 topping and 1 protein for total $11+tax), the price is reasonable and the food was so nice!! As a big fan of salad, i have tried a lot of restaurants in town, the sauces they offer are the best. This semester, the restaurant becomes my rank 1 restaurant around campus ❤️
After discovering this place we couldn't get enough of it . The salads are amazing and very fresh . The staff is sooo cool 😎 and you feel great after eating here , Fresh and Fit !!
I tried the Avocado Crunch salad. The guacamole was a bit spicy at first, but once mixed with everything in bowl, it was delish. Would definitely try again.
I am a vegetarian and it's really hard to find good places to eat. Forage kitchen makes healthy meals and is super hygienic. It is my favourite go-to place for lunch. I wish they kept more vegan and vegetarian options.
Really unique option. It’s like a sweetgreen x chipotle that turns out in a lovely way. The bowls and wrap are both filling and leave you with a healthier meal as well while eating out. Would recommend trying their Thai curry bowl at least once (sweet potato base). Definitely a go-to in this area. And good portions for the prices.
Recently visited this establishment and was pleasantly impressed. The staff were very professional, warm and welcoming, and extremely helpful and patient with the customers. As someone new to the area, they took the time to talk me through the options, make recommendations, and help me with my order every step up the way. The food was superb. This was the best tasting salad I’ve had in at least the last five years if not longer. All the ingredients were fresh, colorful, and tasty. I did the create your own option with half lettuce and half mixed greens. I then topped it with carrots, cucumbers, and corn, followed by parmesan cheese, croutons, and chicken. This was all mixed with a salsa roja dressing. (There are many many many more options to include in your salad. This is just what I chose). The food was very reasonably priced and well worth the cost. There is plenty of seating, including some by large windows allowing you to look and see what is happening outside. This is a must visit if you’re in the area! Do not regret missing out on this amazing food.
